Fashion Revolution is a small, globally oriented design-services organization formed by fashion-industry leaders to pursue a more transparent and sustainable sector. Its mission is rooted in the 2013 Rana Plaza collapse, which underscored a rupture between fashion and textiles and spurred calls for systemic industry reform. Fashion Revolution Day is held annually to raise awareness of industry issues and to acknowledge efforts toward an ethical, sustainable future. The organization operates within the design services field and supports ongoing initiatives such as the Fashion Transparency Index and collaborations with academic and partner organizations. In January 2026 it closed offices in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, while continuing its 2026 campaign and maintaining an international footprint despite its small size.
