In 1941, Padre Roberto Saboia de Medeiros founded ESAN, “Escola Superior de Administração de Negócios”, Brazil's first Business college, in São Paulo. An enterprising and visionary idealist, Padre Saboia anticipated the need for skilled labor in Technology and Management in a Brazil heading towards industrialization after the World War. Working tirelessly in the pursuit of his goals, in 1946 Padre Saboia founded the Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial, FEI, giving Brazil a study center that was able to serve the first plants established in the country. The second campus, in Liberdade, a district of the city of São Paulo, has an area of 8.600 square meters and a bold, modern architecture. This campus offers Undergraduate, Master's Degree and PhD courses in Business Administration, as well as numerous non-degree Graduate programs in Technology and Management.
