The Felician Sisters of North America is a nonprofit with headquarters in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The Sisters are led by the Provincial Council which is the executive leadership team of sisters who oversee the operations of the Our Lady of Hope Province. Since their arrival in North America in 1874, Felician Sisters have led the way in building the social service landscape. They serve those in need, support refugees, provide education, fight injustice, care for the sick, share spiritual wisdom, empower women, defend the planet, advocate for peace, foster community and offer hope — by following Blessed Mary Angela’s direction to “serve where you are needed.” As an international community of more than 1,000 vowed women religious, the Felician Sisters have a convents and a presence across four continents. We have convents and a presence in the United States, Canada, Haiti, Brazil, Poland, Italy, England, France, Kenya, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, and the Amazon.
