Fernco, Inc. is a mid-sized manufacturer based in Davison, Michigan, that produces flexible plumbing solutions for both commercial and consumer markets. Its origins trace to the 1950s, when founder William Zopfi developed a leak-proof tar donut seal, which led to the formation of Fernco Joint Sealer Company and, later, Fernco, Inc.

The company grew by partnering with wholesale distributors to ensure timely product delivery and expanded internationally starting in 1993 with Fernco International, Ltd. in Stockport, England. It broadened its reach into the retail market in 1984 with the PlumbQwik line. In 2025, Fernco launched the Access Point Plug to create cleanouts or inspection points in 3-6 inch pipes, reflecting ongoing product expansion.
