ABOUT FIT: FIT delivers real-time innovation throughout the disaster life-cycle. We connect with the community "boots on the ground." FIT brings together leaders from robotics, community justice, design, technology and beyond for impact oriented collaboration. HOW WE DEFINE "INNOVATION." Innovation is a practice. It is a set of skills and tools to help humanity go from challenge to solution faster, more effectively, make existing solutions better, find a less expensive way to do it, and sometimes create an entirely new solution. FIT’s Inventors and Innovators use innovation to help save lives, property, and get to post-disaster ‘normal’ as quickly as possible. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Time is critical in disaster response. FIT alleviates the issue of time by quickly bringing in our free services, technologies, and equipment, to empower first responders and survivors. WHAT WILL YOU READ ON THIS PAGE?
