Imagine a regional and sustainable food system where everyone can eat fresh, locally grown food with the seasons. One where farmers of all backgrounds make a living and where the ecosystem is diverse, abundant, and healthy. Field to Family is committed to making this vision a reality through our: ONLINE MARKET FOR HOUSEHOLDS Every week from Earth Day through Winter Solstice, Field to Family offers convenient online ordering and contact-free pickup for seasonal produce, meat, dairy, plant starts, and other food and farm products. Ordering opens Mondays at 8AM and closes at noon on Tuesdays for pick up or delivery on Thursdays. WHOLESALE FOOD HUB FOR INSTITUTIONS We partner with local farmers to ensure a variety of locally-grown foods are more widely available and expand access to fresh food in our community. Field to Family manages the purchase, aggregation, storage, marketing, and delivery of high-quality, fairly priced food to wholesale customers and institutions. FARM TO SCHOOL PROGRAM AND FOOD SYSTEM EDUCATION Even the youngest eaters play a role in transforming our community food system. Field to Family procures local food for school lunches and brings the ‘farm to the school’ to educate youth on where their food comes from and helps them develop healthy eating habits. We also provide food system educational programming.
