FiGa Films is a Los Angeles-based art house distribution company and sales agency specializing in films from Latin America. FiGa releases features, documentaries and shorts in North America, via theatrical, cable, DVD, and online distribution. Its growing library contains critically acclaimed, award winning films acquired at the world's top film festivals. Privately funded in 2006, the Company launched its International Sales arm at the 2008 Locarno Film Festival. FiGa’s mission is to select and sell worldwide rights of outstanding and progressive films by fresh and innovative up-and-coming directors. Their goal is not only to bring exceptional Latin American films to audiences worldwide, but to nourish young filmmakers, helping them through the post-production phase to the ultimate release of their films. Distributing up to 6 films per year in the U.S. and Canada, FiGa Films is the home of New Latin American cinema.
