Fight for Sight is a nonprofit that supports eye and vision research by funding researchers early in their careers. It runs several grant programs, including Summer Student Fellowships for undergraduates, graduate students, and medical students, offering an unrestricted $2,500 stipend for two to three months of full-time summer research; Post-Doctoral Awards of $22,500 for a one-year research period under a senior mentor; and Grants-in-Aid of $22,500 to support pilot projects by junior faculty. Applications are typically due on November 15. Based in New York City, Fight for Sight operates within the research services sector and maintains a small team. In 2023 it formed a partnership with Moorfields Eye Charity to co-launch a call for diabetes-related eye research.
