The FINANCIAL LITERACY ORGANIZATION FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS or "FLOW" is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to empowering young people, especially young women and girls, with the knowledge and skills necessary to make good economic decisions in an increasingly complex U.S. and global financial system. OUR MISSION FLOW's mission is to provide the information necessary for women and girls to make thoughtful and responsible decisions about spending, saving, borrowing, investing, and building assets. OUR STRATEGY FLOW's strategy is to deliver life-changing programs centered on three core competencies: 1. economic literacy - the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to make appropriate economic choices 2. asset building - long-term saving and investment behaviors as a means to increasing economic independence 3. entrepreneuriship - the knowledge and skills necessary to start, build and grow a new business
