Financo was founded by Gilbert Harrison in 1971. Since selling the firm to Lehman Brothers/American Express in 1985 and buying it back in 1989, Financo has built a reputation for providing independent, unbiased and client-focused service. Today, with the addition of John Berg and his expertise in investment banking and private equity with a focus on retail and consumer sectors, together with Colin Welch’s global perspective with close to 20 years of experience in the retail and consumer sectors, both domestically, and in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Financo’s financial expertise and global footprint has never been stronger.
