Finegold Alexander Architects is a mid-sized architecture and planning practice based in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a women-owned business enterprise, operating as a design collective that serves public, private, and mission-driven organizations. The firm pursues transformative design through close collaboration with clients, aiming to expand possibilities while addressing practical realities. Its projects span new construction and renovations, integrating them with their physical, cultural, and environmental contexts, with a focus on adaptive reuse and sustainable, interdisciplinary approaches.

In May 2026, Finegold Alexander Architects partnered with Shawmut Design and Construction to implement preservation work on a building and restore it to its original state, leaving no trace of the invasive work. The firm has previously been recognized for accessible design, including a 2019 award from the Boston Society of Architects for renovating a historic chapel on a Massachusetts college campus.
