Firestone Cryogenic Equipment, Inc. was founded by Roy A. Plummer in 1974. He successfully ran the company throughout the seventies and eighties until his daughter, Julie McFarlane, took over in the early nineties. Under Julie’s leadership, Firestone grew and diversified into several new areas, including tank rehab, cryogenic field service, and custom fabrication. In 2010, she began developing a new offering--Firestone’s tank leasing program. The company, known as RAP Equipment (after Roy A. Plummer), is now primarily focused on equipment leasing and sales.
