Firestorm Wildland Fire Suppression, Inc. is a forestry and emergency services company based in Chico, California. Founded in 1995 by James Wills, it began as a single fire crew organized to operate in Lassen National Forest and evolved into a multifaceted operation that now provides fire and land management services across the United States. The company maintains divisions focused on emergency response, emphasizing the deployment of multiple fire crews, wildland engines, and overhead personnel to support wildland fire incidents and other all-risk emergencies, and it also offers fire safety consulting for landowners to reduce wildfire risk. Positioned within the paper and forest product manufacturing sector through its emphasis on forestry operations and habitat/land management, Firestorm integrates prescribed burning, thinning, and hazard-reduction projects with emergency response capabilities to address client needs for preparedness, suppression, and risk mitigation. The firm combines field hand crews, heavy equipment, and operational capacity to deliver coordinated fire management and safety services, serving federal agencies, state and private landowners, and other entities requiring wildfire response and preventive measures.
