First Consulting is a mid-sized consultancy based in Amsterdam, North Holland, focused on improving clients' operational performance while reducing costs. Founded in the Netherlands in 2006 and expanding to the UK in 2017, the firm works directly at client sites across utilities, telecommunications, and financial services to understand the end-to-end process landscape. It combines deep process and systems knowledge with disciplined delivery to identify bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements. Its approach emphasizes practical, hands-on engagement that addresses both processes and the organizational changes needed to embed improvements, and it uses IT-enabled methods within an agile development framework to improve transparency and flow. In February 2021, First Consulting merged with Valcon International to form a combined entity, with Viqtor Davis joining the group.
