First Oklahoma Federal Credit Union (FOKFCU) is a federally insured credit union. We offer membership to all persons who live, work (or regularly conduct business), worship or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Tulsa or Creek Counties, Oklahoma. Located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, FOKFCU has been serving its members since 1923, making us the oldest credit union in the Sooner state. In fact, FOKFCU can trace its roots to Edward A. Filene, the father of the U.S. credit union movement, who was personally involved in the establishment of this organization. At the heart of FOKFCU is the concept of a common bond. A common bond may consist of sharing a common employer, association or community. Whatever its particular form, a Credit Union’s common bond means that all its members share certain interest and needs.
