Fisher Companies is a family-based group of ten independently incorporated firms operating in Michigan and Kentucky. The group engages in heavy and highway civil contracting, heavy-haul transportation, asphalt paving and ready-mix concrete production, and it supplies sand, gravel, and bulk construction aggregates. Its operations span an aggregate dock, a multi-modal port site, a diesel-engine repair shop, and Bucks Run Golf Club. Although each company remains a separate legal entity, they share best practices and resources to support customers and emphasize quality and customer satisfaction. Headquartered in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the network is centered in Mount Pleasant, Midland, and Bay City, with additional activity in Franklin, Kentucky.
