Leadership transition FVCC announced the retirement of long-time president Jane Karas and is primed for new leadership. This presents an opportunity to engage during a strategic transition period, offering executive coaching, governance advisory, and leadership development programs tailored for a mid-sized community college planning its next phase.

Workforce readiness The college recently launched an Accelerated CNC Essentials course to address immediate manufacturer hiring needs. This signals strong demand for short, skills-aligned programs and suggests opportunities to expand workforce training partnerships, certification programs, and customized upskilling for regional employers in manufacturing.

Strategic partnerships FVCC emphasizes strong industry partnerships and has engaged the Association of Community College Trustees for consulting services. This indicates openness to collaboration, including technology, library, and programmatic partnerships, as well as potential for shared services, grant assistance, and vendor collaboration.

Recognition platform Recent accolades include Leader College designation and an academic libraries excellence award. Leverage these achievements to position jointly sponsored STEM, library and research resources, digital learning tools, and grant-funded initiatives to boost student success and attract grant funding.

Campus assets FVCC features on-campus housing, the Wachholz Innovation Center, and a premier performing arts venue. These assets enable partnerships for events, experiential learning programs, corporate training on-site, and sponsored conferences, expanding potential revenue streams beyond traditional tuition.
