In 1938, Leon and Jane Flatt opened Mexia Commercial Printing which offered printing services to local businesses. Over the years, Flatt Stationers evolved into a company that offers supplies, furniture and printing to offices and schools all over the state of Texas. Flatt Stationers remains family-owned and has third-generation family members helping to run the business. Equally as impressive, the company has several employees that have been with Flatt's for more than 30 years each.

The current staff at Flatt Stationers represents over 250 years of service with the company. That experience translates into superior customer service and unparalleled product knowledge.

Flatt Stationers, Inc. has two divisions: a retail and printing division, and an educational division. The retail store in Mexia supports the local communities and surrounding areas, which include a printing division which supports the local area and businesses all across Texas. The educational division sells to over 500 school districts, as well as hospitals, municipalities, government agencies and other entities.
