Flexifloat® is the originator of the modular sectional barge, engineered and manufactured in the United States since 1956 by Robishaw Engineering, Inc.

Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified by ABS, covering the design, manufacture, and supply of modular barges and ancillary equipment.

We operate the largest sectional barge fleet in the United States and provide complimentary lifetime engineering support to every customer, including pre-project analysis, barge design, and on-site consultation at no cost. Our Self-Elevating Platforms (SEPs) have been delivering stable, elevated work surfaces for marine construction since the 1970s.

All Flexifloat® components are truck-transportable and field-assembled without specialized tooling or equipment. Construction crews can quickly connect sections into platforms of various sizes and configurations, capable of supporting heavy equipment loads in areas that are practically or economically inaccessible to conventional deck barges.
