FlightBridgeED, LLC. is an online educational organization that specializes in providing critical care transition education for the individual wanting to move from ground E.M.S., the Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Unit to the helicopter E.M.S. (HEMS) industry. The project was founded in November 2012 as the product of the combined visions of the FlightBridgeED team. The idea for FlightBridgeED started as a casual conversation and a subsequent formal meeting which resulted in several podcast recordings and an initial deployment of the website. As a community began to develop around the project, the team saw opportunities for improvement and expansion in order to better serve those interested in this very specialized type of education. Listening to YOUR feedback, FlightBridgeED has expanded it's vision to develop a complete, multifaceted Online Education System designed to bridge the gap between ground based healthcare and the air medical industry; A Partnership in Discovery™.
