Flint Energies is a not-for-profit, member-owned electric cooperative that has served customers since 1937. It provides energy services to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural members across parts of 17 central Georgia counties and is based in Reynolds, Georgia. The cooperative delivers power to more than 250,000 Georgians through about 94,500 meters and operates a system of more than 7,000 miles of distribution lines and 50 substations, including the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base and Fort Benning. It ranks as the eighth largest among Georgia's 41 EMCs and the 38th largest among the roughly 1,000 rural electric cooperatives nationwide. In 2023, Flint Energies partnered with Georgia Power to extend the distribution system and add charging stations to support an expanded electric-vehicle fleet.
