Founded in 2009, Florac is a private equity firm chaired by Marie-Jeanne Meyer, historic shareholder and former officer of the Louis Dreyfus Group. 

Florac is an evergreen structure and the Meyer family seeks to partner with entrepreneurs with ambitious strategic projects to foster the emergence of national and international leaders.

The Company has a relatively unique positioning as it combines the advantages of an evergreen single-family office (focus on investment, discretion, benevolence, flexibility, long-term horizon) and those of a typical private equity fund (structured and disciplined approach, speed in making decisions and in their application). We aim to build sustainable, quality partnerships with best-in-class management teams that have a sharp market expertise and a proven track record.

Florac makes minority and majority investments from €20m to €100m in European and U.S. market-leading companies. Since 2009, its team of 12 professionals, based in Paris and in LA, has completed 21 deals across a large range of sectors (e.g. hospitality, retail, healthcare, eduction, financial services, etc.).
