The Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) is dedicated to ensuring that every child in Florida has access to high-quality early education. We champion the respect, support, and equitable compensation of early childhood educators. 

Our Mission

To benefit children and families by providing leadership, advocacy, and professional development for early childhood professionals. 

Our Passion

We are committed to supporting educators across various settings, including for-profit, non-profit, faith-based, home-based, and corporate programs, serving children from infancy to 8 years of age. 

Our initiatives include:

Advocacy: Developing relationships with local, state, and federal legislators to maintain a strong voice for early childhood education at all levels of government. 

Professional Development: Offering growth training that develops personal skills and knowledge, aligning with NAEYC standards. 

Accreditation Support: Providing ongoing assistance to Early Childhood Education programs working on NAEYC Accreditation.
 
Community & Connection: Creating spaces for early childhood professionals to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge through networking events, mentorship programs, and statewide initiatives that strengthen the ECE community.
