The Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE) is a state government agency based in Tallahassee, Florida, that regulates the practice of engineering to protect public health and safety. It serves Florida's more than 40,000 active licensed engineers by enforcing licensing requirements and professional standards. The board operates within government administration and maintains rules for public engagement on its social media while noting that user-posted content reflects individual viewpoints, not the board's official position, and that information from users is not guaranteed to be accurate.
In 2022, FBPE elected Scott Drury as chair and Dylan Albergo as vice chair, signaling governance updates. The agency has engaged in partnerships to support continuing education, including a 2020 collaboration with Renew Central. Florida's public records law applies to FBPE, and its posts and materials are archived for public access.
