Florida Healthcare Plus, Inc. was established in 2004 as a Pre-Paid Health Clinic Plan in response to the growing healthcare needs of lower income families. In September of 2007, Florida Healthcare Plus (FHCP) was granted it’s Health Care Provider Certificate from the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) and began operations in Miami-Dade County by offering a commercial health plan to individuals and employer groups. 
In September 2009, FHCP obtained accreditation as a Managed Care Organization from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) for 3 years. Today Florida Healthcare Plus is a licensed Florida HMO. 

FHCP is managed by a team of seasoned healthcare industry veterans. FHCP is focused on serving the needs of its members through its PrePaid, Medicare and Medicaid managed care programs. Our goal is to deliver excellence to those we serve! 
Florida HealthCare Plus was created by listening to the advice of doctors, ancillary providers, hospitals, insurance agents, and most importantly, by listening to our members. We offer robust benefits such as specialty care, diagnostic testing, urgent care, prescription medication, optical and dental services and elite hospitals, and much more to our members. Our goal is for our members to have peace of mind and to be healthy. With us, we hope to bring both to our members.
