Florida Municipal Power Agency is a wholesale power organization based in Orlando, Florida, owned by 33 municipal electric utilities. Its goal is to provide low-cost, reliable electricity and value-added services to those owner-customers who collectively serve more than 3 million residents. Although each member operates locally, they collaborate to coordinate power supply, enabling larger, more efficient plants and shared operating costs that help reduce electricity prices.
