Since 1982, The Florida Native Plants Nursery Inc. (formerly Florida Scrub Growers) has grown and sold plants native to Florida.

Properly placed and planted, native species can thrive under harsh local conditions without fertilizer, pesticides or supplemental water once established.

Plant native plants and bring nature home. Add life to your landscape! Native plants attract birds, butterflies and other wildlife by providing them with food, shelter and places to raise their young.

The Nursery stocks over a hundred species of trees, shrubs, vines, grasses, groundcovers, wildflowers and pond plants to fit your yard. We are now growing herbs and edibles for Southwest Florida.

Come visit us! Take a walk with us around our native plant environment and experience the butterflies, honeybees, birds and other wildlife of Florida.

The Nursery will help you plan your “Real Florida” yard. We’ll offer helpful “how to’s” to get you started and keep you going! We also provide professional native landscape design, installation and maintenance services.

The owners of Florida Native Plants Nursery, Inc. include a conservation biologist and plant physiologist.
