Our physicians have completed rigorous fellowship training at leading institutions including Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Wills Eye Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Duke Eye Center, Baylor College of Medicine, Emory University, University of Iowa, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, University of Florida, and other top academic medical centers and ophthalmology training programs nationwide. Many of our physicians are consistently recognized among the nation’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly. Florida Retina Institute is also a recognized leader in retina research and clinical trials. Under the direction of Dr. Matthew Cunningham, FASRS, we participate in national and international studies focused on emerging therapies for retinal diseases. Dedicated research locations in Orlando, Wildwood, and Jacksonville expand patient access to innovative treatments.
