FM Dorothy Day House of Hospitality operates as a civic and social organization based in Moorhead, Minnesota, providing emergency shelter for adult men and supporting individuals who are homeless or hungry through case management and ongoing services. The organization emphasizes a structured path from immediate shelter to long-term stability, pairing guests with a shelter case manager to develop plans aimed at ending homelessness. In addition to shelter, FMDDH runs two food pantries serving low-income families and individuals in Cass and Clay counties, with regular distribution schedules that do not require appointments. A related site, Dorothy Day West, formed through a partnership with Holy Cross Church in 2009, extends access to Daily Bread items sourced from the Great Plains Food Bank, offering weekly pantry services to qualifying community members. The overall mission sits within the civic and social care sector, reflecting a locally focused approach to addressing homelessness and food insecurity in the Fargo–Moorhead area.
