Since 1969, Focus On Renewal Sto-Rox Neighborhood Corporation (FOR) has been an anchor institution and pillar agency for the residents of McKees Rocks and surrounding communities.  Initially established as an anti-poverty program serving the needs of women and children, FOR has grown to five locations and provides programs and services for all ages dedicated to developing and maintaining healthy minds, bodies, and spirits.  

FOR's team of close to 50 are committed to working towards our Mission and Vision and deliver high quality services with dignity, respect, and a true desire to see our community members grow, thrive, and succeed. 

Our current programs include Food and Nutrition services such as the FOR Food and Pet Food Pantries, cooking classes, and specialty nutrition boxes for seniors; arts and culture classes, workshops, and after school sessions at our Father Ryan Arts Center; a full-service Library, assistance for job-seekers, and literacy workshops for all ages at our Sto-Rox Public Library; a Pre-K program, diaper bank, parenting workshops and other services for children and families at our McKees Rocks Positive Parenting Family Center and Family Foundations Early Head Start programs; and health and wellness classes, critical needs funds, housing support assistance, and services through our Community Violence Reduction Initiative at our Community Resource Center.
