Focus Point is a Malaysian eyewear retailer and manufacturer that began as a small optical counter in Muar, Johor in 1989 and has since grown into a regional player with a network of outlets and a franchise program. Based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, the company expanded from a single store to multiple retail locations, supported by a management team and a dedicated head office in Johor Bahru, and later Kuala Lumpur. Its business encompasses eye care and vision-related products delivered through a franchise model that aims to empower entrepreneurship while maintaining management support across operations. In recent years, Focus Point has continued to broaden its footprint through new store concepts and services, including expanding Komugi outlets and introducing on-call vision care services to reach customers at home. The company situates itself within the manufacturing and eyewear retail industry, positioning itself as a leading domestic operator with ambitions to extend its regional presence.
