Foodbank Victoria is a non-profit organization based in Melbourne, Australia, with a 95-year history of providing vital food relief to vulnerable Victorians. It distributes food through three channels—charity partners, schools, and regional Community Food Centres—and works with a broad network of about 500 partners and 1,015 schools, currently feeding around 69,000 Victorians daily after distributing more than 25 million meals in the past year. It acts as the state's emergency food relief provider, supporting communities through natural disasters, pandemics, and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis by sourcing, rescuing, and purchasing essential food and groceries. Its food purchasing program is expanding, with about $5 million spent on food each year, and for every dollar donated, two meals are provided. In June 2026, Foodbank Victoria opened a new Altona warehouse, increasing storage capacity to support its expanded operations.
