As a medium-sized family business with approx. 200 employees, FOOKE GmbH is based in Borken in the west of Germany’s Münsterland region. Founded in 1904, it is currently run by 4th and 5th generation Managing Director Johannes Fooke and Hendrik Fooke. These machine tool systems are often used as gantry and overhead gantry machines for large-area and large-volume workpieces from the rail, aviation, aerospace and automotive industries, where model and prototype building as well as tool and mould construction are common application areas. The FOOKE ENDURA® machine tool systems are characterised by their high dynamics and precision as well as their excellent cutting rates and process reliability. Holistic engineering services, right from customer order placement, are among FOOKE GmbH’s core competencies. In this regard, FOOKE has great experience in cutting, the design of structural components for motion systems, the design and integration of feed drives and the complete commissioning of machine tool systems. In addition to the holistic engineering services, FOOKE GmbH also offers an extremely high level of vertical production. For example, the structural components are independently cut, fired and welded as well as completed using mechanical production and the proprietary colour scheme. FOOKE’s own employees also take responsibility for the proprietary electrical design, electrical cabinet construction and electrical wiring of the machines.
