Foothills Land Conservancy is a Tennessee-based nonprofit organized to protect, preserve, and enhance land across the Southern Appalachian region for the public's benefit. It works with landowners who want to safeguard property for reasons such as keeping it in the family, protecting sensitive habitats, or preserving scenery that could be lost to development. Through the efforts of its board, staff, and supporters, the organization has helped conserve more than 200,000 acres across 500 projects in Tennessee and six surrounding states.

In May 2026, Foothills Land Conservancy announced the acquisition of the Oliver Tract, a 638-acre property in Blount County on the western edge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The organization has a history of land transfers and ongoing conservation activity, including a 2006 sale of assets to the U.S. Forest Service, with improvements planned since that transfer.
