The Forest Stewards Guild is an environmental services organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, serving as a professional network for forest stewards and affiliates. It seeks to promote forestry that is ecologically, economically, and socially responsible to sustain forest ecosystems and the human communities that depend on them. Members emphasize field observation, science-based practice, and ongoing learning, and they collaborate to share knowledge across projects and regions. The Guild works with government agencies, non-profit partners, landowners, and community groups to plan and execute forest stewardship projects, including prescribed burns and timber-marking activities. It has engaged in collaborations such as the Zuni Mountains Collaborative StoryMap to guide conservation and management, and maintains partnerships with the U.S. Forest Service and other organizations. In 2024, the Guild expanded its fire-management capacity with the appointment of a Fireshed Coordinator.
