The College Swimming Coaches Association of America, Inc. (CSCAA) is a small nonprofit organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Founded in 1922, it is the oldest coaches association in the United States and supports college swimming and diving through governance, standards, and support for coaches. Historically, CSCAA organized national collegiate championships and contributed to the rules and administration of collegiate competition. The CSCAA expanded through a 1980 merger with the Women's Swim Coaches Association, shaping its contemporary structure, and its history includes ties to the Swimming Hall of Fame, now the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Today, the organization lists more than 2,000 member coaches and assistant coaches and recognizes elite swimmers and Scholar All-America athletes, as well as notable coaches, while supporting the welfare of collegiate swimming and diving.
