As the largest school district in the county, Fort Bend ISD is an outstanding K-12 public education system. Serving more than 80,000 students, FBISD is Texas’ sixth largest school district and is one of the most diverse in the nation. Working and learning cohesively alongside families who speak more than 100 languages and dialects, the schools work together with students, their families and the community to address each student’s unique needs. FBISD currently has 83 campuses: 12 high schools, 15 middle schools, 51 elementary campuses and five specialty schools to address the academic and vocational interests of students. With more than 11,000 full-time employees and substitutes, the District is the largest employer in Fort Bend County.
