The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is a regional cultural institution focused on American art, with a mission to collect, preserve, present and interpret these works for diverse audiences in Fort Wayne and the surrounding region. It hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions of American fine and decorative art, including shows that explore cross-cultural connections among artists from diverse backgrounds. The museum provides educational programs on- and off-site, a lending library with more than 8,000 volumes, a Print and Drawing Study Center, and the Paradigm Gallery shop, which features the art and fine craft of more than 75 regional and national artists. Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the museum operates as a small to mid-sized cultural institution and is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. In 2025, the museum announced its annual Chalk Walk, presented by Partner's 1st Federal Credit Union and scheduled for July 12–13.
