Fortis Property Group is a Brooklyn-based real estate investment, operating, and development firm that owns, develops, and manages Class A office properties, multi-family residential condominiums and rentals, as well as industrial properties. Its activities span several markets in the United States, with residential projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn, office projects in Boston, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Dallas, and a nationwide industrial portfolio; affiliates also hold properties overseas with a focus on the United Kingdom. As a vertically integrated owner-operator, Fortis employs professionals across acquisitions, asset management, development and construction, capital markets, and legal and accounting. Since 2005, Fortis has acquired and developed more than $3 billion of commercial real estate in the United States, emphasizing the Northeast and Dallas markets. Headquartered in Brooklyn, the firm is led by founders Louis Kestenbaum and Joel Kestenbaum. In 2026 it announced plans to reposition the Arts Tower in Dallas.
