The Forum for Healthcare Strategists is a professional network in the hospitals and health care sector that was founded in 1996 by senior healthcare strategists seeking to examine current and future approaches to delivering care. It offers channels for communication and peer support, along with opportunities for professional development, with the aim of identifying and fostering new, more effective care models. It also provides educational programming and connects members to key publications and resources, including its quarterly newsletter, Healthcare Strategy Alert. In March 2020, the Forum launched a COVID-19 Internal Resource Portal for faculty and staff, which has recorded about 1 million visits since its launch. Within the hospital and health care field, the Forum aims to help executives identify critical issues and examine strategies and solutions for delivering care in a changing, competitive environment.
