In 2011, Forward Solutions was formed by Kevin Dedner. Kevin found himself in between opportunities and was offered a contracting opportunity to work on children’s health insurance. Prior to that, Kevin had spent the majority of his career working on a number of public health issues in several capacities. The single contracting opportunity led Kevin to realize a vision to support organizations in reaching their highest goals and improving vulnerable and at-risk communities. As the work evolved so did Forward Solutions. Kevin’s goal was to provide thoughtful and measured leadership to his clients and the personalized customer service. Organically the firm adopted the design thinking methodology to guide its policy and research work.

Several years later, the firm began to evolve into a total contracting firm with a targeted strategy on federal contracting. Today, the firm seeks to serve in a number of capacities. But, the guiding principles and convictions of the company still remain.
