France Environmental, Inc. (FEI) is a small minority owned/operated company based in Richmond, Virginia. Asbestos and lead-based paint consulting services are the main focus of our business. Our clients include Federal, State, and Local Government agencies as well as private industrial, commercial, and residential entities. FEI offers a direct response and service at a reasonable price compared to many larger firms due to our low overhead expenses and simple management structure. Our employees provide a level of quality that is above the typical industry standard.

FEI has been licensed and providing asbestos and lead-based paint abatement consulting services throughout Virginia and the surrounding states since founded in 2002. The owner has over eighteen (18) years of individual environmental experience. In addition, FEI’s field personnel average over ten (10) years experience in the environmental industry. The project management and field staff are required to attend annual licensing refresher classes in order to maintain professional licenses and stay current with all of the Federal, State, and Local codes, laws and regulations.

FEI also performs industrial hygiene services including, but not limited to, Mold Assessments, Hazardous Material Surveys/Abatement Designs, as well as Indoor Air Quality building assessments. FEI also works with a variety of clients during real estate transactions to perform Phase I, II, & III Environmental Site Assessments.
Our industrial hygiene department regularly performs mold investigations and indoor air quality studies on a preventative measure, as well as in response to occupant complaints. FEI has the ability to test for multiple air contaminants with the use of in-house meters or a variety of sample media. With a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), we are able to investigate a wide variety of indoor air quality issues.
