The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that connects business and community through leadership, advocacy, education, and networking. Its membership comprises more than 1,000 organizations, representing over 35,000 local jobs across a range of industries including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, skilled trades, service and hospitality, technology, government, nonprofit, and education. 

Based in Frederick, Maryland, the chamber has a history spanning more than a century and is recognized as the first Chartered Chamber in the United States, marking its centennial in 2012. The group serves a community of small businesses—more than 80% with 20 or fewer employees—alongside larger organizations, reflecting its longstanding role in the regional business ecosystem. In 2025, the chamber highlighted activity around its S.H.E. Pitch competition, announcing semi-finalists for the year.
