Fred's Footsteps provides financial relief to families in the Philadelphia region who are in crisis due to the costs associated with caring for a seriously ill, injured, or disabled child.

Through our main program, Fred's Footsteps covers a family's non-medical expenses (household bills like rent payments, energy bills, and car payments) to make up for gaps in income caused by their child's illness or injury. In addition, we also help support home renovation and accessibility projects that provide safety and independence for children in our program. We are the only program in the region that provides this type of bridge -- not just momentary help -- to families during their darkest hour. Our goal is to take the financial pressure off of the family so they can focus on what really matters: their child's health.
