FreezeCrowd is an interactive social network for college students and alumni that was first envisioned when its Founder Eric Leebow was a college student looking at his college picture book. While viewing the photos, Eric saw that everyone in the pictures had something in common, yet the Internet sequel where students shared their lives together was yet to be realized. With such ideas as connecting the traditional paper yearbook to the Web through new inventive ways, a dream was born to connect people in group photos. The FreezeCrowd name is a play on words which comes from "Three's a Crowd," and was later changed to FreezeCrowd as a new way to "freeze" people's photographic memories connect people interactively in groups. The basic idea of connecting with people in groups is already done in real life, whereas friends, teams, and family members take photos of everyone in their crowd.
