Insights

Community Focus Friends of Forgotten Children demonstrates a strong community-centered approach by providing essential services like food, clothing, and holiday gifts to low-income and at-risk populations within the Concord area. This creates opportunities for local organizations and donors seeking to support grassroots, volunteer-driven initiatives.

Volunteer-Driven Model With a small team of 2-10 employees and reliance on 100% volunteer efforts, the organization offers a flexible and scalable partnership model, ideal for corporate social responsibility programs and volunteer engagement campaigns.

Potential for Funding Growth Currently reporting low or no revenue, there is significant potential to expand fundraising efforts through grants, donations, and partnerships, especially by aligning with larger national organizations with similar missions.

Expansion Opportunities As one of the largest food pantries in the state and a versatile community hub with meeting spaces and a commercial kitchen, there are prospects for collaborations with local health, education, and social service providers to extend service reach and program offerings.

Alignment with Larger Missions Matching the organization’s focus on helping children and families with similar goals of large nonprofits and international agencies opens avenues for grants, sponsorships, and partnerships that can enhance visibility and resource availability.
