Founded in 1981 by Winemaker John Williams, Frog’s Leap is a family-owned winery in Rutherford, California. Now in its fourth decade of production, the winery farms roughly 150 acres of certified organic vineyards, and a second generation is firmly ensconced in day to day operations. Known for classically styled, balanced wines that prioritize vineyard expression over power, the winery produces around 60,000 cases annually, focusing on traditional Napa Valley varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Merlot. We believe that great wine is grown, not made, and that stewardship of the land, employees, and community is inseparable from quality in the glass. Today, Viticulturalist and Winemaker Rory Williams works alongside his father, ensuring that Frog’s Leap remains an independent Napa Valley winery dedicated to authenticity, humility, and genuine hospitality, where all are welcome.
