Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a United States-based mental health care organization formed in 2011 through the merger of Spokane Mental Health (established 1970) and Family Service Spokane (established 1905). The merger created an organization with more than a century of experience delivering behavioral health services in Spokane County. FBH is the lead provider of Crisis Response Services in the region, operating 24-hour crisis intervention and Involuntary Treatment Act evaluations. The organization serves more than 16,000 clients annually and employs more than 700 staff, offering services to Children and Youth, Adults, and Elders. Most services are provided in outpatient settings, while FBH operates 48 inpatient beds for Evaluation & Treatment and Stabilization, and provides additional programs such as Peer Support, Crisis Services, services in Nursing Homes, Schools, and for the Homeless, a Clubhouse, and Vocational Rehabilitation/Employment services.
