Founded in 1885, Frost Valley YMCA is the nation’s oldest YMCA camp and a nearly 6,000 acre residential camping, environmental education, and conference center located in the “forever wild” Catskill Mountain Preserve, just two hours from New York City. We are a destination for community, nature, art, and recreation, offering year-round programs that inspire growth, connection, creativity, and resilience for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. As leaders in camping and outdoor education, Frost Valley provides meaningful, screen-free experiences that help people connect to themselves, to others, and to the natural world. As a charitable organization, we raise funds to provide camperships and financial assistance, ensuring access to transformative outdoor experiences for children and families regardless of race, identity, or socioeconomic background. Guided by our “For All” mission, we strive to be a place where all people belong and are respected.
