The organization offers both monolingual and bilingual, home-based evaluations and services across New York City's five boroughs. Under the Early Intervention Program, services are provided at no out-of-pocket cost to families, with eligibility determined by state-approved evaluators and service plans developed in collaboration with families and county authorities. Headquartered in New York City, FLA serves children under three suspected of developmental delays or disabilities and coordinates a range of therapies and related supports. Its offerings include speech, occupational and physical therapy, nutrition, social work and family training, special instruction, autism/behavioral management, vision services, and service coordination, with services delivered in settings convenient for families such as home or daycare and any non-home fees borne by families.
